no antuiquity grand campagne game have ever showed norway .
the map usualy always end in swedish&danish scania and and the sjaelland island of danemark because it was there the last known tribes of antiquity like the GAETS tribe in scania .
ps . this mod include china and india too but no norway just like any other antiquity game or mod .

God I hope they make the map look good. R2TW had an absolutely disgusting map, and HoI4 looked very abstracted.
and once more- mod review still don`t proove anything about upcoming game =) and it still can be something phantasy (there will not be any sighn of Norway on the map too)

Can't agree more, I really hope we will see a more ambitious map scope then in EU:Rome but not towards the North. India is imo a must for good diadochi gameplay and China would just be a pity to leave out. Perhaps not much relation with the rest of the world but an interesting region in its own right
It really depends on how you want to read "there is no Norway on the map"
If you read it like "there is physically no lands of Norway in the map" then this would point to Rome as it means there map won't go that north
However if you read it like "there is no independent Norway in the map" then Victoria is still possible

If it’s not a Rome antiquity game, they are doing a good job with the trolling.
If it is, they are taking production, minorities and religions into account. I’m interested to see how that game comes together. Closer to character based CK2 or abstracted populations in an economic model like Victoria? Or both!

They said a lot of things which can be understood in the way we prefer but that hardly apply to every occasion. I would suggest to remain cautious and to entertain the thought that we might now get what we want.,.therefore you won't be disappointed.
As a supporter of Rome from quite some time I would know.

Chances are its Rome II, though i still think there is a chance of Vic3 happening.
Whole game? Norway can become a nation in Victoria II which mean there is a potential Norway and thus Victoria fails on this hint.
