at present, the premyslids tend to lose a lot of dynasty members matri-marrying their sons to any randomers who ask or just not bothering to marry their kids off at all, since they calculate that theyre too far away from the succession to matter. this is also true of any elective succession where the direct children are not being voted in as the next ruler. this is an issue that has carried over from ck2, where the ai byzantine emperor just happily matri-married all his sons away for no reason, and found himself in a bit of trouble if his initial intended heir died somehow
it would be nice to see this tacked in ck3, since development ended for ck2 and it is literally never going to be fixed now in that. this is frustrating from an ai self-preservation standpoint, but also from a player standpoint if you ever play czech - if you ever land a dynasty member, theyre going to automatically adopt seniority and then immediately balls up everything doing galaxy brained plays with their own kids. the ai does enough of that anyway without the added help, so no worries this will make the game too hard or anything
