TCP/UDP Ports?

Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what TCP/UDP ports Majesty uses for multiplayer internet games. Ive tried searching but was unsuccessful.

I cant host internet games without them.

How could they expect anyone to be able to play online (ie. Gamespy) without listing the game ports?

We don't use Gamespy, but Hamachi instead!

The problem i have with Hamachi, is that theres absolutely no way to troubleshoot... It just sets up and expects itself to work fine, you just hope the game shows up under "Lan".

But this is unrealistic in the context of playing against random people from across the globe. You dont know their setting/configuration so you have no idea whether the problem lies with you or them.

With traditional online games which have their own server/gamespy, troubleshooting is simple as all that needs to be done is firewall unblocked, and in the case of hosting, game ports open.

As of yet, im yet to successfully use hamachi with majesty.

Well, I didn't have that much trouble with it sofar.

And there really aren't many Gamespy Majesty players, if any at all...
