For some reason i can't login using tapatalk. Says something like can't find server...

Time for some bad news. We discovered that Tapatalk is no longer available in a free version. This means that we are advertising a third party product that costs money. We can't really do that, so we will take another route and install a regular mobile skin instead. I'll keep you posted.

ok, too bad. Tapatalk was a good product, and it didn't bother me to have paid SEK30 for it.

But hopefully your setup will be as good (or better!) and available shortly.

Strange, I would almost assume tapatalk should pay paradox for supporting them. these forums are the only reason I got tapatalk...

That means that every time someone enters our forum from a mobile device, we are advertising the purchase of a third-party product. Or was, rather. Thanks, I've looked into Tapatalk a few times but as far as I could tell there was only a paid version for android without any option to check the program out. I managed to use the full forum on my phone.
When you do implement the mobile skin could you please make sure there is an easy way to select a page in a thread?

Bummer, I had purchased Tapatalk for iPhone for the only purpose of more easy access to this forum. I can see the point though, and really look forward to what you guys put out. Mobile access to the forum (aside from phone browser) would be really great. Many thanks!

It is coming, I need to upgrade the forum to get the skin I want, so it will be a couple of weeks more.

There is also Forum Runner app that is similar to Tapatalk and it has both free and paid version.

Another option is to offer a dedicated Paradox version of the app that would be free for the users, but (I guess) Paradox would have to pay for it. Bonus would be that Paradox name and icon would appear in various application markets (AppStore, Android Market), which could be a form of advertising for you. In case of Tapatalk that would be $999 one-time fee (from what I learned from their page), and in case of Tapatalk that would be $349 per year - maybe for a company the size of you it's not too big a cost (and you are somehow advertised in app markets accessed by millions of people).

get rid of alt text of the badges, it makes my page 5x longer as they get listed vertically (SAS's posts are really hard to read)
Move that yellow bubble away from the forum>victoria2>thread name.... i dont know how many times i have hit that FAQ link this weekend

I understand your decision to move away from tapatalk but I just wish you could have waited until you had your own app up and running and available.... would have made life easier for us folks.... it's a hazzle to use the forum on a regular browser even with my galaxy S2.

As far as I understand it (and I might very well be wrong: I'm just a volunteer mod here, and have no inside information whatsoever), it's not an app, but a mobile version of the forum. So you use your mobile browser and don't need an app.
