I always presumed the variants of tanks like tank destroyer, Self propeled artillery and AA we're modelled.
But i heard somewhere that it wasn't the case, so i'm asking you guys now...
Like if i took the TD variant of a panther tank i would get a jagdpanther.
Is this in the game? like would it actually give a picture of a jagdpanther if i we're to make it, or just the panther with some extra hard attack or anything like that?

For all I know these sub-models will get flavor names. But no pictures yet. But the US and Japan Naval fighter got special pictures, so this will most probably follow later.

I don't think the first message to create a separate topic, but this is pretty close.:)

Someone had seen the Soviet tanks tree, they say there is a medium tank 1939 A-32, but this is the prototype T-34, and they were 1-2 the instance, why not take the same T-28, of which almost a thousand?

If I remember rigth, the T-28 is used as the 1936 heavy tank.

This isn't an RTS. Most people will likely play it without 3d models and with nato symbols activated anyway.

You also have to remember that you will likely not have a single "Jagdpanther" unit in a province. Your AT tanks should normally be an attachment for a larger unit with other tanks or infantry anyway (to give a mechanized infantry division a better chance against tanks for example). So even IF it would be modeled, you would hardly ever see it.

Why? But there are t-35, just the beginning of the 1930s, the t-28 is a medium tank, weighing 25 tons, which was produced in 1933, its even in place of model 1939 not put quite correctly, already in 1939 one of the latest versions.

T-35, unless it's been changed since. The T-28 is, I think, the medium tank before the T-34.
Yes, you are right. Was indeed the T-35. I mixed up sorry.
@Black Orc
T-28 - an older much too crappy design for this slot (for comparison the slot represents a Pz III in tech level)
A-32 - yes a prototype on the way to T-34. Seems to fit tech and equipment wise and nothing else works better in my eyes for the slot. Some argument could be made for the A20 but it seemed too weak and light
T-50 - about as correct as the A-32 so it depends if you are most annoyed about including a prototype or something classified as light tank as the first medium. Considering we drew the art for A-32 its just personal preference and not much reason to change things.

Get used to a lot of mistakes there. I don't think they fixed the place of the Kongo-Class in the Japanese navy tree either.

Yes, i agree with you completely and it seems that i asked the wrong question.
I agree that there for example in a tank division will be ony 1 or 2 td battalions for support for AT as you said.
I didn't mean to ask about the models on the map.
What i meant to ask, are there gonna be pictures in the production screen of TD or SPG or SPAA variants of the tanks.
You know what i mean? :)
I appologize for putting question the wrong way

Jesus christ people read the FAQ about preorder.

What is the meaning of "Tank Packs"?
  • These are new models for the tanks when displayed on the map. It does not in any way alter what tanks you have available for your army. The only difference is that they will be displayed in game with a template model not looking like the real thing. So cosmetics only!

That is what he meant... Don't freak out. He meant 1 heavy model such as the Tiger I one medium model such ad PzIV and light such as PzII. 3, 3d models per nation. Control your emotions don't get so frustrated so easily next time..
