The Bofors logo/company/techteam is very important outside Sweden. I wonder how it might be used with HOI IV & licensing Anti-Air systems which were used by both sides. Some of the neutral states had influence in the war.
Sadly it won't.

Sadly it won't.Podcat confirmed there will be no selling/licensing of units. You can only give away old equipment as lend lease.. I fear this will make playing some states such as Sweden pointless..
More irrelevant than fantasy tanks that don't even exist as a concept??
How will that make countries such as Sweden pointless to play?
Didn't Finland get weapons from Germany?
How could you possibly simulate this in HOI4? With no purchasing of arms or licensing for production its not possible.. Finland isn't close enough aligned to the Allies or Axis to receive lend lease either so they are pretty much screwed on that front as well..
It'd much better to keep mechanic of selling equipment fluid - so it can be used by all nations - rather than restricting it to events.Throw in an event in 1939 giving the Finns some free equipment, another in 1941 and a third in 1942.
KISS

Resources? Since HoI4's economy seems to hunger for resources (being prime cause for conquest) I can see it working that way.

Trade system have been changed, please read trade on HOI4 Wiki for the known information.
HOI4 Wiki said:A country can import goods from any country that is exporting those goods. At current the exporter does not need to approve the deal. The percentage of an exporter's exports that a single country can import is limited. It is unknown whether this limit is determined by the importer's economic laws, trade laws, or something else.
