I got the mission to take the Levant and it was a simple choice to take it; claims are nice.
However, every province in the region takes 13% warscore and so it's impossible to take the whole region in one war. The claims end up expiring before you can take the whole thing.
It doesn't help that every king of mine died before their heir reached maturity (they all died in their 20's) so if this annoyance could be fixed, that would be great. (In the EU4 beta before the game came out I can recall taking the entirety of the Mamluk land far faster than I can in the full release!)
Also, if you do annex it all in one go via console, you get tons of 50,000 stacks of rebels and no new accepted cultures in the region, but that's probably due to cheating and nothing else, so I won't really complain.
