Taking screenshots of events

How do you take screenshots of events?Ive heard you need to use printscreen,but when I hit it,I get nothing.Also,could someone tell me about a good free screenshot taking program,that doesn't need any registration.

Hit F11 in game , that takes a screenshot. They are stored at your game folder.

C:\Program Files\Paradox Interactive\Doomsday

or similar place like above.

The F11 key doesn't work on event screens or the Statistics screens. Use the Printscreen button, this places the image on your "clipboard". Ctrl+Tab to leave the game then open Paint, GIMP or another similar image manipulation program and press Ctrl+V this will paste whatever is on your "clipboard" into the program. Unfortunately you can only do one image at a time this way.

Sorry I am not at my home PC so I don't remember any good screen shot programs. Someone should be around soon with some names. Have you tried Googling' it.

I use SnagIt, it has a free trial phase, but after it you can still use it.
