Hi,

I've annexed Australia and then liberated it into a puppet. However, as I understand things, because I do not share a land border with Australia and they do not have any convoys, then they will not be able to send me any resources. So, I want to liberate Australia, but keep Darwin for myself. If I "Open Negotiations" and click on the Australian (Or any other puppet's) province tab, there are none listed, so I cannot order them to cede Darwin to me.

Is it possible using a cheat to do any of the following:

a) Prevent Darwin from being included as part of Australia during the liberation.
b) Award Darwin to my own country after the liberation.
c) Give Australia convoys so that they can send their resources to me.

Thanks

Save game > switch to Australia > gift the provinces to yourself > save game > switch back again.

If you load up as Australia and put transports in their build que, say just one or two 99 long serial builds. Will they cancel them when you let AI take over again?

Rather elegant solution is to edit the revolts.txt. Put darwin prov id to extra rather then minimal. Then load up a game, give this province via negotiation to some other puppet, release australia, and then force acceptall the first country to give you darwin back.

The most elegant I imagine would be creating offmap province with uncrossable land connection to darwin. Locating this offmap prov somewhere close to australia. This would allow land trade and make sure japan does the transporting via sinkable convoys.

My method:

Take military control of the puppet.

Build excess TP units.

Go to negotiations.

Give excess TP units to your puppet.

Go to your puppet and click on the units you newly gifted.

"Convert" TP into convoys.

Viola! Your puppet has more convoys.

Time consuming and expensive but there's no need for you to edit the game.
