Taking over the US as Canada

I'm currently playing Canada and trying to take over the United States as fast as possible, before they are able to build up their army. I've started with the Patriation and Swastika Club NF in order to become independent and fascist asap. This allows me to finish justifying and start the war in may 1938.

And while it seems quite easy to beat the US by simply rushing cavalry through undefended border states (there are still several left in may 38), encircling their army and taking VPs, the US always joins the Allies shorty after the start of the war and then I have to fight France and the UK as well.

Is there a way to somehow stop the US from joining the Allies?

In case WT is a factor in this, it's at 83%, mainly raised by me (justifying the war for 49% and declaring for another 7%).

And I just realised that I can gain a war goal against the US through the Focus Tree. No justification for 49% WT necessary, I guess this will solve my problem.

You can also justify on the Philippines, but note: The USA WILL join the Allies in early-mid 1940 if they are at war (or at least they did in my Mexico game). My advice: Join the Axis, help Germany invade the UK.

Yeah, the low world tension as you said should solve the problem. Is it 40% world tension to join a faction?
