Playing my first game of CCIP+SMEP+DAIM+Scandinavia+New Nations Pack on Hard/Furious setting the French demaned me out of Rhineland on about 8 Jan 1936.

I replied to their rediculous bluff via telegram (I didn't take it seriously enough to send a diplomat):

Küssen Sie es
(kiss it)

France replied with war!

Understandibly I almost shat myself. I wasn't ready for that. I frantically reviewed intelligence reports and redeployed my scattered army to the front line. Without writing an AAR it's Dec 1936 and I just annexed France suffering some very acceptible losses in the process.



How rare is this? Have people experience this before?

Asside from the obvious positive effects this will have are there any negative effects in relation to Anchuluss (spell?), Sudentenland & Czech, and Danzig and/or other events in particular? Send aid to Franco happened almost immediately after I annexed (i.e. no longer at war).

btw: I didn't mean 'how rare is this to achieve annex of france by dec 1936' -- I meant 'how rare is it that France will demand you out of Rhine and then DOW when you tell 'em to shove it?'

Jan 1937: the new world order.

NB: Portugal is my ally. Used her islands to hop to Saigon etc and deal the final blow to damn Frenchy. Woulda accepted peace much earlier but they wouldn't give me all of europe so I decided to stick it to 'em.

how so? since I found it I've noticed many people other than rodrico link directly to his download? combination makes sense to me more for CCIP-SMEP & DAIM others don't worry me too much but they're nice add-ons.
