Take from SOI CB

Hello,
I play on the last expansion. As NGF, I puppeted Switzerland and Belgium to get buffer states vs France. France sphereled both, But I eventually got Belgium, but not Switzerland. Now I want to get it by force! I manufactured a Take from SOI CB against them, But I cannot select Switzerland, only Madagascar and Algeria. There are no truces in any way. Why ? How can I start my war ? I prefere blood over diplomacy in this game.

edit ; I declared war for Madagascar, Switzerland, my pupet, joined France, its sphere leader instead of not get involved ? This is very wrong ...

You can't use Take from Sphere on puppets, didn't really consider this situation where another country has sphered your puppet. I'll see if I can fix it for the final 3.02 patch.

Any chance you could also have the "make puppet" CB remove all of their alliances? I'm rather miffed about my Belgian, Dutch, and Swiss puppets getting involved in all of France's wars that aren't against me. Since puppets no longer control their own diplomacy, I can't tag switch to them and break the alliance. Nor can I tag switch to France or one of their other allies and break it that way since one isn't allowed to engage in diplomacy with a puppet.

Should you even be able to sphere another nation's puppet? It's hard to believe you could influence a country more than the other country which has installed its own puppet government.

You could say that after the fall of Singapore during WW2, while Australia was still officially a dominion of the UK, it was more in the American sphere than the British.

To use a more timely example, Serbia, Wallachia and Moldova were very much under Russian influence in the early part of the period, despite being vassals of the Porte.
