Tag Team EU2

Hi folks!

I wonder if anyone else has the same problem as I do. Namely, I want to join an EU2 campaign but can't guarantee that I would be there for enough sessions to reliably handle a country.

Having subs is not a really good solution. So what I'm proposing is sharing a country. A tag team of 2 (or even 3) players will form the 'high council' of a country, negotiating policies and doing diplomacy between sessions. The country will then be played by the player who is able to attend the session.

In the first Throne of Heaven, I shared a country in this style with RedPhoenix and it was good fun (then again ToH in general was good fun). So I would like to try solve my attendance problem with doing a tag team game again.

The campaign I'm looking a tag teamer for is likely FALs new sunday game, but I could handle another one too.

In EGA5 I did this. First together with Ozzeh and then, when he had to leave, with Dud.

It is IMO a great way to solve problems like yours. And it is much more fun to discuss strategy with another player than plotting for yourself, all alone in your home.

Ah....I think your thread just drowned with all the other stuff going on here today. Anyways I for one think your idea is quite splendid. While I´m not yet in the specific situation you describe I´m sure that one day, soon, I will most probably manage a country in this "Consu"-kind of way.

Though, of course, you and me teaming up would probably lead to all kinds of trouble. Together we would just be too ruthless and machiavellistic for most players to handle.

Yep, I agree to much stuff going. Actually, I coud use some tag team in FAL game Not sure if I can play all sundays after all.

I think whatever nation we played would be perfectly happy allying itself and backstabbing everyone else, thus dying alone in a massive gangbang

Only problem is even if you tag-team a country you can't necessarily guarantee that either of two people will be able to make a particular session.

The best way to run a MP game will still be the way that Mowers ran them - if you're there, have your country... if not, someone else have your country... if not enough, AI it and don't give a fuck let what happens happens and watch the game develop.
