I've wondered if there is any sort of way to determine how tactical/strategic bombers choose their targets when ordered over an air region. Furthermore, I would like to see if it could be possible to implement a system where you can select a type of target for bombers to destroy, based on the distribution of buildings throughout a state covered by the air zone. Because of the inaccuracy of bombers in the early stages of the war, I would imagine that it would be 'historically' accurate to lump Civilian and Military Factories into one category, especially if that country is taking the concentrated industry path. Fortifications should be their own category, unless those fortifications are built on a city. In that case, it would make sense that factories and fortifications would both receive a fair share of damage.

For example, say that I wanted to play as Germany in 1936 and boost Benelux to make them fascist before the start of the war. I would like to be able to tell my bombers to bomb the fortifications in the Maginot line, but to ignore the industry of France knowing full well that mopping up France isn't an issue once the Maginot is broken. This way, I don't need to spend more time repairing factories that may have been destroyed by bombers otherwise.

The gameplan above is stupid, but being able to separate industry/fortification targets would be a feature that I would love to see implemented in the future.

Get the DLCs, especially the new one. I think it's going to be one of the only 'proper ones' - sort of the Art of War for EUIV, or 'the Muslim one' for CKII. DoD - meh. Unless you particularly like eastern Europe, the only really feature is to license production, which is nothing to spend money on. TfV I like, but probably only because 90% of my playthroughs are as Britain. If you main the USSR, for example, probably not worth it.
