Tabarestan -> Persia strategies

I started my game by ally timmies and gazikum. I was going to use them to attack the little blue nation just south of them but they became a vassal of QQ. So i bided my time till QQ was at war with timmies and Otto. I was able to get the little blue nation as my vassal but timmies took my wargoal so I just ended it there. I then diplo annexed and attacked Georgia who was allied with gazikum so I was able to annex them in the same war while at the same time ending my relationship with them so I was no longer over the limit (ally, marry, guarantee timmies, otto, crimea). I turned Georgia into my vassal so I wouldnt share a border with Otto. From there attack and annex Circissia. I fabricate a claim on Nogai (allied with timmies) because Otto (also allied with timmies) will join me against them and I can use them to take land from timmies. Just finished that war with a few more provinces and finally connecting my capital with the rest of my land. Uzbek wanted to ally so I went to war with timmies again. QQ seperate peaced (same side as uzbek) from that war. I was able to attack them and not have uzbek declare on me so I can take tabriz for the Persia decision. Unfortunately timmmies allied Otto again so I'll have to do the same trick and declare on Nogai (or someone like them) to get the Otto on my side in a war. I'm around 60-70 years in I think. Oh I also westernized since I got a border with Genoa (crimea vassal) who then annexed a month after I started the process lol. I'm a little disappointed that westernizing doesn't give you western unit types (first time doing it ever).

You can day 1 DoW Georgia. QQ will give you military access through to attack Georgia even if QQ is hostile to you. The AI almost always gives you MA when you go to war against their rival (which is Georgia).

From there, Georgia is a springboard for allying Ottos + GH due to reduced distance penalty.

I tried to DoW Georgia on day 1. Turns out QQ doesn't give MA until they're not hostile anymore, which means you have to work your relation with them to 100+. Once they gave me access, they seemed to enforce a white peace between Tabarestan (me) and Georgia. I'm not sure as I don't get any popups; only a message in the log saying there was a white peace between me and Georgia. It happened twice.

I also tried to DoW Shirvan on day 1. Strangely enough they were able to ally QQ despite being at war, and I ended up being destroyed by QQ's army.

I think I'll just do the Persian vassal thing and wait out the inevitable war between QQ and Timurids, and keep up relations with the Mamluks and Ottos in the meantime.

If 5years (or something like that) nothing happens in a war, it's auto white peace. Your text reads like that happend.

Strange timing, but that's probably it. Takes a while to get relations with QQ to non-hostile.

Edited to add: Sometimes QQ does in fact have Georgia as rival, then it works asking for MA. Vassalized Georgia but right before I could afford to boost relations with Ottos in order to ally them, QQ attacked Georgia and crushed me...
