I see that the System requirements are the same as EU3, does this mean that this game will run as fast as EU3 witht Napoleon Ambition installed? Or is this game actually faster since it is only europe that is simulated?

I haven't payed much attention to this game since I just asumed that it would require even more than EU3 since that is the coming thing, newer games require better computers. SO I never got my interest up for this game for my own sake since I assumed I would be able to run it at a confortable speed.
BUT, if it runs as the same speed as EU3 then it might be worth it sinceI love the EU-series pof game and I also like the roman empire.

Johan, how would you compare the games requirements wise? Or you beta-testers?

... or slower like Crusader Kings mixed with EU3 . Let's hope not

The only reason CK can seem slow is that it does its character-purge at the end of every game month. I'm not sure why they don't have it do the purge yearly. Nobody would mind pausing a few extra seconds at the end of every year; and if you've got autosave as well, you wouldn't even notice it

I agree wit yer there. Nothing more annoying than that 3 second pause at the end of every month. That was the stupidist lameist ignorantistest lol implementation into the game I ever saw. I've gone back to 1.05 CK cause I just can't get used to or stand that pausing and the other bad thing the wars where everybody just stands there cause they can't get to the province(s) the war is at. Dues Vult is kinda messed up till they fix that stuff and I certainly hope it's not in Rome game.

Yeah; but, actually, aside from that monthly stutter I haven't really seen any of the problems others have seen in Deus Vult, except the relations bug, for which there's now a fix (thank you Wiper). And in terms of stability, CK has never been better, on my machine at least (zero crashes) -- and I run DV without the 2.1 beta patch. The improvements, on the other hand, are now pretty much indispensable I think. There's no way I could go back to the vanilla CK interface...

sorry for the OT...

I don't care about trivial things like system requirements any more :D

How can a commie like you afford a new laptop!?
I'd like a new laptop.... oh wait I have an extremely adequate pc, therefore Rome running smoothly or not is also rather trivial. :D
