I looked about for an answer but I could seem to find any other than people talking about gifting systems to other A.I. regarding holy worlds.

So is there any way to ever trade for another world? I have tried everything, those with good relationships too and massive amounts of minerals, energy, food, systems, information, by month or instantly and both and I have not once ever had a person want to transfer away a planet/system. If this is meant to be an option, what am I doing wrong here, is there something I have missed or something I need to do to trigger such an event?

Thank you for any answers in advance.

Probably just the Diplomacy being bugged. AI is not the uhhh smartest so it's hard to get them to do what you want or would like. Normally you would just transfer systems with the AI through trading. Sounds like it's the AI hasn't been fixed or something like that.

so you have been able to do it on the pc version @Raylof ?

I don't think I ever have. I don't think I've ever transferred systems with someone, unless I was giving said AI or player the system. You are probably asking for systems that are to high in value for the AI to give it up. How high of a standing do you have with the person you want to transfer a system with?

The AI will never, ever give you a system, ever, PC or Console. That feature's mostly there for multiplayer, or when players want to be generous to an ally with recently conquered territory they don't want. Otherwise it'd be easy to shower an AI empire with gifts and literally buy out the entire empire.

So exclusively for multiplayer?

It seems strange that they give us the option then because (edited from here because it posted for some reason...) I have had empires where I haven't had the option. I understand giving them systems, because you want to get rid of troublesome populations and so on.

so can anyone else confirm you can't trade systems from A.I at all?

I can't even give away my owned systems to another AI empire that is friendly to me.
There's likely something they don't want. Evangelizing Zealots, for instance, refused my offer for a planet filled with robots. They're also too smart to be given Holy World empires.
