tbh 60gig isnt that bad these days, especially for what it is we're getting.

Just checked with our @HBS_Comanche and our Lead Engineer and learned that we'll be adjusting our min and recommended specs as we get closer to launch and final optimizations on the game occur. The dev team is currently estimating a HD footprint around 25GB is more likely than the currently published numbers.

Wow, that's still the largest game I have ever played. I can't wait to get my hands on it. Might have to start the download before I go to sleep the night it's released, then call in sick the next day...I can feel that 24 hour flu coming on now.

I imagine they could go up even higher if they really wanted to serve the 1% population that can run 4k resolution, and the audiophiles that want FLAC files for everything, from voice acting, to sound effects, and music. Bumping it all up to 40 GB just to serve the 1% population may not sit well with those who care about having a 2 day download.

The HD textures for Fallout four pushes it to 95 GB. We're getting off light either way.

Thank you, that's more reasonable. I mean, i really was wondering how BT was going to be like Ark Survival or something so crazy like that. I was starting to clean my SDD disk just in case

Well, I don't know about that - 60 GB would imply AAA production values on the scale of an open world game. I would have....reluctantly accepted that outcome.

Good to hear about the reduction, I play tbs on my work lappy cos its generally less demanding! My IT my eye my growing steam game folder if it suddenly jumped by 60gbs!

Otoh, if you guys have a HD texture option at like 60gb+, it would be welcome for my desktop pc!
