Synth Ascension and Slaver guilds: Do they work together?

I was just wondering if I can still enslave 40% of my population with Slaver Guilds if I run synth ascension on everyone and I've given citizen rights to synths.

Under the old rules, you couldn't enslave synths on mineral tiles if you gave them citizen rights, even if biological citizen POPs working mineral tiles would be enslaved by caste system.

Yes you can. Your synth population is properly enslaved and it looks like it gives you the slavery and slaving guild production bonuses.

For those who don't know, you have to give robots citizen rights policy before completing the second ascension project due to a bug that fires all your new robot ruler pops forever if you don't, likely breaking your game for all intents and purposes.

Thanks for the tip. I normally do that anyway, but I'd hate for it to be the one time I don't and I implode the empire.
