Hi,
I really like thématicaly Syncretic evolution origin. I made many fun run with it.
But now days i find it hard to "make work". If i pick syncretic evolution, half of my spiecies will have serviles trait,
and it seems that there is not anougth 'worker' jobs anymore for them to fill. Patches brought the balance to have a stronger "middle class"
Burocrates, artisans, forge workers, enforcers, priests/culture workers, researchers all compete for those, specialist posts.
And a 1/2 serviles race has a hard time to work.
It went so far that we even got a new slavery type to fill those roles. (so that you can still play the opressionist)
From there to go with serviles make it hard to work. (for me at least)
What are your tougths?
Have you made it work recently (and how, as maybe i am just missing a way of using it that still works)?
My opinion that it should allow the pop to make specialists jobs (at least burocrates and industry/forge workers)
