What I haven't thought about yet: Maybe reviews might even keep people at the game. I guess there are quite some buyers who saw the game somewhere, bought it on Steam and found out it is, at the moment, a pile of garbage and then, not knowing that Paradox/Kerberos are actually trying to get it right (which most publishers wouldn't bother to), turned their backs on it. Even devastating reviews, if containing the info about constant patching, might very well be the only way these people are made aware that the game they own will see serious improvements.
Yes. I do wipe. Though the thought of a bidet sounds more...charming.
This game will see it's intended purpose, and I will continue to support it if doing so gives it more of that chance. Further, my intention to continue support reflects my desire to have available a game for all of you who wish to bail on it now, only to return to it later.... So you are all welcome.
By the way, when do those standalone DLCs become available anyway? I didn't notice that part in any of the reviews. Maybe I overlooked it...somehow.
For the well informed AND the not-so-well informed? I can't think of anyone not visiting the forums for a company of a particular title that they're considering to purchase. Wait. Would those fall into the well-informed category??? I'm confused. :wacko:

How did this go from a proposed collection place for game reviews/news to a discussion about how people wipe themselves and how well-informed they are while doing it? Seriously....comon guys....submit reviews and news if you find new items... the other discussions got lots of threads where it can occur.
$29.99-$39.99 is about average for download releases.
$39.99-$49.99 is about average for boxed releases.
$59.99 is more of console pricing but has gotten transferred over to the PC world with the popularity of cross-platform releases.
Yup, most of them are even nicer than I'd expected due to Kerberos and Paradox's past history of patching and supporting their games very well.
I still haven't completely lost faith in them, so once I get my refund I'll consider re-buying it in another 6 months.
Any one remember the stink from IGN(?) they editted there review after they apparently lied about reviewing the game
or the yahoo's 6/5 for batman?

I understand that a new program can be buggy, but what I don't understand is why a sequel does not retain the features that worked from the original.

If you read the post you quoted youd notice I said that.
and I have been told, repeatedly, by Paradox, to check back "next week" and that refunds "or other compensation" would be "looked into"
saying "if youre unhappy get arefund" isnt exactly useful. Itd be like me telling you to tell them to approve our refunds. -- look im just copy pasting the answer now cause you all arent reading it.
I though the blame was on both parties? why are you singling one out?
