I don't mind paying money for muslims, but I am worried when you say that as of 1.6 it will be impossible to convert to non-playable religions. That would include Norse, Tengri, etc. as well, yes? And they wouldn't have DLC available for them either. So there is nothing I can do, as of 1.6 I will not be able to convert to Norse Paganism no matter how much DLC I buy, I'm just completely forbidden. That seems like a problem.

I'm a little shocked that this isn't a fully fledged expansion. I hope that dlc doesn't ever replace expansion packs.

See it this way... The mechanics are in the patch. So you have a expansion without paying money! You must only pay, if you want to play Moslems.

Ah, well so long as the content is still good I'm happy. Actually, this is a lot cheaper than a standard expansion. I think CKII was such a success that they can afford to free up prices a bit.

there DLC itself is not just play Muslims, the Emir Sultan and Caliph will have there game play mechanic to them feel and play differently from feudal lord.

No. The gameplay mechanics are in the patch. The DLC is only playing Muslims.

yep but mechanics for muslims can be used by player only coupled with the DLC.

That sounds awesome. Still, i'd much prefer a pagan dlc focused on the Nordic/Romuva/Suomenskuo religions. Mjolnir demands blood! :D


hopefully when they've released this muslim expansion, they'll work on the pagans next, then later start working on indiviual cultureal structures unrelated to religions, such as byz, rus and other unique cultural structures.
