Now that the mods have to be adapted to the new features and map, I wanted to bring up to discussion this issue: if demesne represent the /extension/ of territory a ruler can efectively administrate without resorting to delegation of power (vassals) shouldn't demesne sizes be higher in SWMH than in vanilla, to take in account that provinces are way smaller?
Take as an example the slow gain of royal power in france, along with the progresive gain in royal demesne, specially by the gain of the game period. While by theaend game in vanilla, with a high enough legalism, an emperor of france could rule over some 10 counties, the same amount in the modded map count for a way smaller land.
It is something you have already discussed (I assume so). In such case, what was the rationale behind the actual decision? And lastly, if there has already been a discussion of this, could you guide me to it?
Many thanks, for your attention to this post and for the effort you put in this wonderfull mod
