Switching provinces with save editing

I'm playing Kaiserreich as the US and the PSA allied with the Entente. They took Trivanrum in India when they were helping out Delhi and now own the province, which is a victory point. This complicates things with my war with them, since I can't annex them and I can't take the province since my TPs would get killed by the Canadians.

Is it at all possible to make the province go to literally anyone else?

They should give the province to Delhi. But if not I suggest saving the game, Loading in as the PSA give the province to Delhi, then save again and load up as USA.
Also I would not consider that cheating, the province don't even leave the Entente.

But I have good experiences with the AI giving rightfull provinces to their alliance members. So hopefully they should do so.

EDIT: If you dont know how to do it when you are PSA:

Go to Delhi, open negotiations. Go to provinces and give them it. I have done it many times. And if they say no there is always "Acceptall".

Thanks, I hadn't considered just loading it up as the PSA. Also, Delhi has no cores or claims on the province, so it wouldn't have gone to them.
