With the important industrial techs in the latest Japan WWW, I was wondering, can you switch from concentrated to dispersed if your priorities change or are the trees locked in from the start? It would be nice to be able to switch.

1 other question: is there something to stop players for being gamey and disbanding their units when those units are going to be encircled and destroyed?

And yet 1 more thing to be edited cause who needs more threads. Mao's portrait is from the 50's or 60's, there are plenty of good pics I think from the 30's and 40's to use. So that is a bit odd really.

If I remember well, yes you can, but you have to research the whole tree from the start (where both technologies become exclusives).

Doctrines can be switched later on. You might want to switch from modern blitzkrieg to desperate defense for example if things dont go so well and would then start from the decisionpoint over. I dont know exactly if that also works that way for regular technology, but i dont see why not. It would hurt your industry alot tho, of course, but better inefficient factories instead of no factories at all i guess.

As for the second question, i guess you need an land or sea connection to your capital in order to retrieve manpower and equipment if you disband units. If they are out of supply they wont get any replacement equipment, so i guess it will be the same the other way around.
