Switching/Disbanding Factions

1) Can you possibly change faction during a war without suffering from the enemy just to double cross someone? (even with huge negative modifiers is that an option?)
2) Can you create and then for tactical reasons disband your faction?

You can disband factions yes. Even the Axis, Allies and Comintern can be disbanded.

I like the idea of this that factions are no longer static... Maybe I can play as Poland and create a fascist faction and have Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia join. It will be called the "Axis of Terrible Ideas".

Ministers dont give animore support to a faction?

While the button is there, do we know for sure that you can actually disband the main factions? (since the player can make factions is that button just there for disbanding those?) I hope we can!

Yes, in one screenshot of an multiplayer game by the devs germany was in the "Payback Time" faction. Beside that if you decided to turn germany democratic for example there is really no point in locking them into the axis.

Ah, this is great. I will destroy all three factions, and unite the entire world in my "Worshippers of the Holy Hedgehog Bear of Jan Mayen" faction. There can only be one true allegiance!
