It would be interesting and useful to switch the capital, in my opinion at least. I'm not sure how this could be implemented though. Maybe through a focus.

But since someone is going to complain about balance, this is how I propose balancing must work.

  1. The nation must be at peace.
  2. It must take time. I would suggest 4 months. And, during this time the nation cannot declare, or justify war or the move is cancelled.
  3. Resources in the territory being moved to should be diminished during moving.
  4. The city the capital is being moved to must be in a core state and a major city.
I think this would be useful when preparing for future wars where the capital is near. What do you think?
