@ Mr. Santiago: You can't even imagine how right you are about that...
@ Kaiser Mobius: Thanks for the tip. I'm aware of the river factor, but I wanted to attack enemy in Baton Rouge as fast as it was possible to prevent them from moving elsewhere. My units were approaching from the West and Mississippi was on their way, but there was no time to go around, so direct attack was launched. Unfortunately, it was unsuccessful. Going around should have really worked much better, altough enemies could already move out of the area in this time. As for Kaiserliche Marine, I was playing around with a similar idea, it seems we both think alike about that. I plan to establish solid system of German institutions in exile, so what was left of their army will be probably very useful in the future.
Thanks for your comments, everyone!
General Staff report on situation in world fronts
Part 9, Spring 2010
Syndicalist foothold in Baton Rouge had been finally taken care of and further leaking of Syndicalist troops into American interior was halted. However, many British troops managed to enter American interior during the long siege of Baton Rouge and American Syndicalist resistance was reinforced by those soldiers.
Most of ex-CS territory was still in great mess and UNA didn't have other choice than to keep supressing massive resistance and continuing to search for the best solutions. However, situation improved at least in Florida. Floridan emigres, scattered mostly around the Caribbean region and had developed strong Floridan identity in the past came out with a solution for Florida. Idea received decent local support and Canadians also didn't have anything against another smaller loyal state coming to sit down by the Canadian-dominated ''Caribbean Lake''. In spite of winds of war still blowing over the most of the globe, Republic of Florida was proclaimed in optimistic atmosphere. Provisional goverment of Florida declared that process of reconstruction in all areas has started and that even global conflict won't stop it.
Canadian reinforcements started arriving to South America. Canadian airmobile corps immediately engaged Brazilian troops in Colombian territoy in attempt to relieve Colombians from some pressure.
Once the Turkestani armor plate was broken, Iranians started to punch into the soft belly of Russia.
In India, President of the Republic of India General Musharraf found himself trapped together with his troops in a tight pocket that was getting smaller every moment. Defeat at Nagpur was resulted in destruction of major army corps of Indian republic and capture of the supreme commander of Indian Armed Forces.
Situation in East Asia was not bad, altough the advance of Russian republican troops into territory of Russian Socialist Federal Republic was still very slow. Rough terrain and fierce resistance of Red Russians were not really in favour of UNA.
After the fall of Sweden, Ottoman Empire was the only force resisting Syndicalist conquest of Europe left.
