@ Bergioyn: General Virta is helping General Mobius with eliminating big pocket in icy North. Virta's units are very suitable for such task.

@ red1: Your wishes about Florida might come true quite soon. Our Indian allies are not doing so well against Red Indians right now...

Thanks for comments, everyone!

General Staff report on situation in world fronts
Part 7, Spring 2010

Experiencing pressure from all sides, Combined Syndicates of America were crumbling.

war85-1.jpg

In Des Moines, SAS commandos which were in hunt for convoy with high CS officers, fell into an ambush which was set up by those who were considered a prey before.

war88-1.jpg

Fortunately, NCR Rangers which were not very far from ambushed SAS unit, came quickly to aid distressed Canadian commandos.

war89-1.jpg

Enemy convoy couldn't face both Canadian and New Californian elite. American unit retreated to the last stronghold of Combined Syndicates, the Minneapolis. However, the last major city in CS hands was under assault by Canadian armies which were entering the city after the bitter fights. Enemy unit that fell right into Canadian hands had to surrender, together with many high-ranking officers.

war91-1.jpg

With Combined Syndicates losing ground in North America and with their highest leadership on the run, Canadians decided to push the captured highest military officers that were already tired of war to sign capitulation of their country. However, CS officials in underground and abroad announced CS capitulation invalid and wowed to continue the fight against reactionary occupiers. Guerilla war forced Canadians and their allies to maintain high level of military activity in territory of defeated CSA.

war94-1.jpg

In West Africa, Liberty Coast wasn't able to stop enemy advance.

war86.jpg

After the fall of Dakar, fate of Liberty Coast was more or less sailed. Enemies were advancing so quickly that organizing efficient defense was almost impossible. German authorities in Freistadt were asked for permission for Liberty Coast troops and citizens in general to retreat into this German-held West African territory. Evacuation trough the sea was impossible due to Syndicalist naval blockade.

war90-1.jpg

The Great Teacher found herself under the siege in the capital of Urumqi. Fierce defense, lead by the Great Teacher herself, was eventually broken by overhelming UNA forces. Allied forces didn't make it on time to safe the heart of Shangqing Tianguo.

war82-1.jpg

Indian republic launched major offensive to liberate occupied capital of New Delhi.

war84-2.jpg

However, the worst happened. Internationale used offensive of republican India to trigger their own offensive. Troops of Indian republic were left into New Delhi after the heavy fighting, but armies of Internationale launched united offensive from all sides, including from the North and the West. Even retreating Millenarian armies took part in it. Most of the armies of the Republic of India found themselves surrounded in two pockets.

war93-1.jpg

Both Australasians and Indonesians continued with their offensives in enemy territory.

war87-1.jpg

European situation was more and more concerning.

war83-2.jpg

When the German defense line in the West broke under heavy pressure, French offensive cut deep into German territory. European fortress was in panic.

We have crushed the Red Menace in North America, but this was just the beginning. I hope that Canada will soon get to work in liberating other regions falling under the Syndicalist yoke. Perhaps Canada should focus first on defeating the Syndicalist members still active in the Americas before deploying forces overseas, especially since that will give Canada the time to rebuild the battered Royal Canadian Navy.

Good update.

It seems that we will soon have German Empire in exile.

Good work with CSA, with syndicalism in northern America crushed, we can send aid to southern america, to decisively crush syndicalism in Southern America once and for all.

Glad to see North America liberated. It seems that you're going to have to liberate Europe yourself, though.

Even though victory is close in North America, it is clear that the situation in the rest of the world is deteriorating. We should move troops to defend India, as the Chinese are still holding strong and thus we can save all of Asia if India holds.

We have achieved a final victory over the American Syndicalists...now lets see which front is more disenhartening and help our allies there.

While I'm inclined to support Germany, I say help out our own camp first, I vote to transfer our forces to attack and liberate my parents and grandparent's homelands of the Caribbean from the Syndicalist yoke.

General Staff report on situation in world fronts
Part 8, Spring 2010

After the fall of CSA, Internationale performed interesting actions in attempt to boost Syndicalist resistance in North America. Baton Rouge was invaded by British troops from the sea. British soldiers and American Syndicalist resistance turned the city into fortress that resisted attempts of Canadian paratroopers to retake the city. Even assistance of RCAF didn't bring any real results.

war95-1.jpg

Syndicalist plan was didn't feature only occupation of Baton Rouge. British were bringing more troops to secured foothold in attempt to break out from the city and continue their way into North America, reinforcing Syndicalist resistance that was not made only of ragtag militias, but also from many regulars that switched their activity to guerrilla mode.

war96-1.jpg

Exhausted paratroopers were replaced by Mexican units, but even Imperial Mexican Army didn't have much luck with Baton Rouge. City stood strong and Syndicalist units continued to leak into occupied CS lands.

war105-1.jpg

Despite the fall of CSA, Canadian work in North America was not done yet. Baton Rouge which became Syndicalist entrance into occupied CS territory had to be taken care of, the Bahamas were almost fully occupied by Internationale which used the islands as important station on the way to occupied CS lands. Despite Canadian, New Californian and Mexican leaders made agreement about the provisional partition of occupied territory of the Combined Syndicates of America, guerrilla activity and uprisings were crippling security situation in all occupational sectors.

war106-1.jpg

Persians continued with their advance into Central Asia, hoping to reach the soft belly of Russia soon.

war100-1.jpg

News from India were not good. UNA tried to save what could be saved and UNA armies in India tried to break trough the enemy blockades in attempt to reach the nearest friendly territories.

war99-1.jpg

war102-1.jpg

war104-1.jpg

Things were even worse in Europe where Syndicalists were on the rampage. Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and Hungary surrendered, Austrian Empire was collapsing and German Empire was disappearing.

Ha! Let the UoB send its precious soldiers to die in North America! Saves the Canadian Army from going through the trouble of wiping them out in Britain itself.

Looks like Europe is basically lost now to the syndicalist hordes. It would be nice if the German navy was able to escape and end up in Halifax harbour, they would do well fighting by Canada's side....

Good update.

Edit: bit of a combat tip. In MDS, penalties for trying to cross rivers in combat are very high, so try to attack overland. Outflank the Syndie British landing from the north and east, where Baton Rouge is not protected by rivers.

Looks like the Germans are screwed, pure and simple.

As Canadians, we alone must triumph over the powers of the Syndicalists once and for all

Once we deal with the British Syndies in Baton Rouge, we will then focus southward, we must liberate the Caribbean from the Syndicalist yoke.
