@ Kaiser Mobius: ILF is otherwise already connected to Internationale via neighbouring Syndicalist Burma, but Syndicalists are careful that their support for ILF doesen't become too notorious as this might bring a lot of trouble. So there is enough support for ILF's survival, but not enough for toppling the imperial regime in Singapore. However, ST joining the game changes the situation a bit. ST is nominally independent of Syndicalist bloc (it has its own alliance with Turkestan) and they might not be so restricted with messing with Indochina.
@ zoli1984: Kim Jong Il has something diffrent in mind.
@ coorta88: Good analyzis, it's true that all Chinese factions, safe for Formosa and Guangxi Republic which are local-oriented entities, are seeing themselves as the Piemont of China.
@ Kurt Steiner: True, his ambitions did not die.
@ Karaiskandar: That's for sure!
@ SovietAmerika: Sorry for strange map (Northern part is messed up a bit), let's just say it's a fault of bad signal of transmition for Canadian and allied officers.
@ Mr. Santiago & Sumeragi: The Kim's ambitions won't stop here!
@ Razgriz 2K9: True, hopefully divided Chinese states will be still strong enough to resist the Shangqing Tianguo.

Kim Jong Il sat in great comfortable leather chair behind the massive desk. He was thinking of his new position. He was not the President of Fengtien Republic anymore, and he outsmarted everyone. Again. He could not believe his genious plan had really worked. He outsmarted his Japanese quasi-overlords in the past for many times, especially in affairs connected with mutual defense and economy. But now, he came out with a risky plan that would make others sorry for excluding him from his rightful position of the savior of entire China. After he discovered it's not worth to demonstrate the anger by boycotting the Taipei Conference, he hid his fury and started to search for good alternate plan. The solution was dwelling in the West, just on his doorstep.
Mongolian Emperor Ungarn Bagabandi Khan was in fact quite reasonable man and agreed with the plan that was called ''Unification Rainbow Project'' as Kim Jong Il called it. Mongolia and Fengtien Republic were united into one country, the Fengtien Empire. The hybrid of those two states was authoritarian-leaning constitutional monarchy that was less democratic than Fengtien Republic but still much more democratic than Mongolian absolutistic monarchy.
Kim Jong Il was pleased with such system. The Emperor was still able to handpick the the Prime Minister by himself, and according to deal between the Khan and Fengtien Tiger, former President of Fengtien Republic became the head of goverment in the new state. The main new change in monarchic structures was elected parliament, but legislative body was much weaker than the goverment. For diffrence from Mongolian absolutistic system and Fengtien presidental system, much more power was given to Premier. But most important of all, not much changed in Manchuria. Fengtien spirit of relaxed open society stayed and even started to influence stiff-necked Mongolian way of life a bit. Tiger of Fengtien was still number one and popular godfather in his land. Emperor decided to stay in old capital of Urga where his throne is located and this way contributed to his position of nominal figurehead and mere symbol of the country. In fact, his influence over the Emperor and the power of Shenyang which remained the unchallenged capital made Kim Jong Il the strongest man in entire empire.
But the former President of Fengtien Republic and new Prime Minister of Fengtien Empire didn't forget about the need of good image that Tiger of Fengtien must enjoy among his people. He called his main public relations official and ordered him to appear in his office despite the time was late. He continued to use his old Presidental Palace, simply renaming it to Premier's Office. Confused man quickly appeared and listened to Premier. - You know my friend, I have an idea about those posters that are placed all over the Manchuria. - PR chief knew those jumbo posters very well. He even took part in design of some of them. They were of all types of graphics. Artistic pictures, photos, even such in anime style. - Here's an example of what I want to do. - Kim Jong Il took a small version of one of the posters, took a red marker, crossed the written sentence with a red line and wrote a new sentence: Fengtien Empire is Best Empire. - I want words on all existing posters changed like this. Emperor has his portraits in all official places already, so there won't be any confusion concerning who is the boss. It's probably safe to put up some posters in Mongolia too. - PR chief thought for a momemt. - Sir, everything looks fine, but there is just one one concern I have...don't you think Japanese may not be pleased with that? You know, our new motto will be saying that we're better than all other empires...and they are very proud on their empire...and very sensitive for our actions. - Premier rejected his concern. - Oh, this is the least I can do for our Japanese friends to thank them for their effective support for unification of China under benevolent Fengtien leadership.
