Here we go:

I took a rather slower way before the BB wars this time, so I waited a while, built up my troops and so on.

After the final diploannex of Bavaria and Baden in 1632 I went passed the BB level and prepared for the BB wars.

The plan was basicly:

Quickly go in and annex 1 province nations and make sure smaller nations become 1 province nations ready for annexation.

Then the plan is to try to take down easy oponents (France) and let harder to conquer (Russia) grab my soil.

Then try to get a peace at once when well nations like Russia get enough to be able to stab hit me for peace.

This is how it went:

Denmark, Saxony, Magdeburg and so on were quickly annexed with the help of my gigantic army (Which I would had called "Harmful Army Which Kills Everything And Their Sweet Mothers Etcetera" (H.A.W.K.E.A.T.S.M.E.) if I had been played HoI2).

With the 1 province nations annexed and the smallest nations decimated; the war situation looked like this in 1634:

The warsituation in France/Germany:
(Austria was a hard nut to crack, but I could easily blitzkrieg the lowtech France)
110gg.jpg

The warsituation in England:
(My greatest opposition was from England's greatest and closest ally. Scotland. England itself was rather defenseless and was just a minimal defense against my blitzkrieg)
125qj.jpg

On the other fronts I was loosing rather terrible against Russia, OE, Nogai and similar undeveloped superpowers...

In 1635 I broke my plan by accepting peace with England earlier by grabbing Northumberland, Kent and Lancshire for peace (Mostly to get a open sea and not loose any of the provinces to the pesky Scots).

After my success in my blitzkrieg in France I reached their western border not long after the English peace.

132ht.jpg

(The red line show how my first army conquered provinces and then my second army is comming to give the first army reinforcements)

After this I gained the last Pommernish province as the game had made sure it was considered the end of the 30 years war which had been programmed in that Sweden would get that province. ;)

But sadly Russia had in 1638 enough provinces captured to stabhit me, which makes me forced to make peace with everyone.

The same year peace was concluded all over the world.

Now it is about one year before the first nation's peaceagreement end, and by then I hope my armies will once again be ready.

(And now I have prepared by sent out 28k army over to the North American continent for annexation of pagans *evil grin*)

@ Nobegow: Thanks and good luck with your Sweden game. Especielly if you plan to mess with those pesky Danes and Russians :D

@ Lord Skane: Indeed. Sadly GIIA died under the war so even in this reality he never would be able to experience the end of the war :(

@ Yoy21: Thanks ;)

The peace lasted less then one year as I hadn't noticed that it was in june my truce with Pfalz ended, but it wasn't that much of a big deal and was quickly taken care of:

160op.jpg

Then the wars started again with me quickly sending my armies into England, France and Austria and annexing Switzerland and Brandenburg.

(The Annexation of Brandenburg, good bye Germany. You are from now on for all eternity known as a kindergaarten for the nordic vegetables)

(The warsituation in 1641)

The plan was the same as last time in general.

The Austrian invasion was built up on three stages.
1) Quickly blitzkrieg the Austrian capital Vienna with a army of cavalry and infantry.
2) Take in infantry armies at positions there the Austrians usualy bypass to get into Sweden.
3) Send in artillery regiments protected by cavalry on lands that can be considered safe from Austrian attacks.

In North America Lenape was soon annexed (But Huron went catholic, DAMN! ) and my units proceeded towards the Iroquese:

(The warplan for the Iroquese)

When peace was concluded Brandenburg, Switzerland, Pfalz, Lenape and the Iroquese were annexed.

The peace deal with the other nations were:

Interesting report.

I've never tried (and probably won't) a WC myself, but I'm still curious. I suppose you have almost as many rebels as enemies to fight? I mean with HUGE stabcosts, a skyrocketting war exhaustion... What about revenues? RR has a negative impact on them IIRC.

Thanks all,

Good luck Nobegow with your game.

spivey, It's not that much of a problem:
* Most of my armies are built during peacetime.
* I got a great manpower which decimate the warexhaustionlist.
* Most of my armies built during the wars are mercenaries.

I've had a maximum of +4 in warexhaustion under the BB wars.

Nil-the-frogg, as I never declare war, I don't loose stability often, and if I got negative it get's removed when they declare war on me.

I am minting 100% (High inflation) which gives me currently about 200 ducats/month when military costs are removed from the list.

And if you look on the list I made towards spivey it's the reason why I don't got so much rebells.

(Greatest ammount of rebells were about 75.000 in Lorraine which I let die by attrition).

here are some stuff i learned the hard way in my Habsburg AAR:

enemies always accept a 51% pece offer in money
aim at COTs, so you can trade, raising your income.
use mercenaries if possible while at war

i had a horrible time when my WE reached 18 once...

and never be at peace with stab below +1, or you get a civil war.

Cant wait to see more Swedish action!

Nice Sweden!

The veggies are also my favurite country to play, and your really doing well!

I only have one comment: I have tried WC for Sweden a few times(never succeded, got bored after GNW) One key is to puppet Russia. Some say that Sweden should beat Russia ASAP, but I always do the contrary. If they grow large, colonizing the siberian koridor and takes away some muslim provs (you can try to make Russia catholic or protestant, which is hard) they will do some work for you!

If you own Ingermanland, Olonets etc. it's rather easy to vasselize Russia. When they are your vassals, you both have a powerfull ally and they colonize and convert for you. When they are large enough you can annex them.

That's my tip, but it seams your doing quite well whitout any tips. :D

Something unexpected happend:
When I reloaded the game both Scotland and Shawnee declared war on me: :(

231bi.jpg

This made the comming war be the most unprepared I have had yet and with most 3v1l rebells.

In 1647 Shawnee was annexed.

The war in Scotland went well, a quick rush with two armies, the first based on 30k units, split between infantry and cavalry, and the second one to be mostly cannons and cavalry.

The Scottish defenses were soon raped and their mainland was under Swedish occupation except for a smaller counterattack which defeated (And slaughtered) my infantry/cavalry army with the help of some sort of über leader.

Anyways, as I reached peace the war with the rest of Europe had started once again.

246qy.jpg

(Europe after the Shawnee/Scottish/Huron war 1649)

In America Huron was allied with Shawnee and had joined the same side as Shawnee, but as they were catholic I couldn't annex them (And they didn't have so much money :( ),

254hy.jpg

(North America in 1649)

As the grand Bad Boy wars had once again started in my unprepared Europe I didn't have much hope to capture so many provinces as in 1651 the situation looked like this:

264sx.jpg

(The French-Aragon-Austrian (Spelling?) border)

273pn.jpg

(The Russian-Ottoman border)

Even though the war didn't go so well on most fronts, I still had some successes against France and Aragon as they had a lot worse landtechnology as I had.

So as I had cannon divisions working to take down the isolated French provinces I sent in assault armies based on infantry into Aragon which quickly took down their fortresses as under the same time their main army was occupied with rebells.

As the war had progressed so long, most nations accepted peace by now (Even if they had about 24 in WS), and my peace deals with France and Aragon was even profitable with the gains of plenty of provinces.

Now peace was found in 1654, sadly though Huron, Dakota and Scotland declared on me.

Luckily I got quickly peace with Dakota and annexed Huron and Scotland.

THE BORDERS 1655:
287nh.jpg

Problems:
* Spain and Portugal are stealing my provinces in Southamerica!
* Russia is still a pain in the ass.
* I got problems sending my troops over the sea to Africa and America to complete any major wars..
