member, Dalaskogen IS your economy. Especially once you have workshop/weapon factory on it.
And FYI, unless it has been changed, I believe that bonus is actually +5 units produced. Effectively +25 development for production.
I will, and thanks for the heads up. A little economic boost in the early game would have made life a lot easier.
Remember how I was complaining about no areas for expansion and then complained again when the Muscovy-Ottoman alliance formed?
Well, when one door closes another opens.
England got a new ruler with no heir. I'd just finished upgrading my fleet, so I got military access and docking rights with Scotland, positioned my fleet and transports right off of the Scottish coast, claimed the English throne and DoWed, and landed to attack England. So shortly I will get a PU on England in ~1533. I'll grab some land from England's defenders (Savoy, Papal State) if the AE isn't horrendous. France and Scotland were very willing to help me take out the English...bless their yellow and blue hearts!
Between the Swedish Space Marines, French Elan! Monsters, and Screaming Scots it was a massacre. Hehe...
And Poland/Lithuania broke their alliance with me and I will not get it back due to my alliance with France (Poland rivaled France). So I'm inclined to use this as green light to expand into Poland/Lithuania. I predict that this was a HUGE mistake for Poland/Lith since this area will likely become a feeding frenzy between me, Muscovy, and the Ottos. I intend on taking the majority of the territory.
And with Austria and Spain rivaled me the geopolitical alignment has sifted dramatically:
* BLUE ALLIANCE: Sweden, France, and the Scots with English, Novgorod, and Norwegian minions
--verses--
* EUROPEAN AXIS: Spain, Austria and Portugal and miscellaneous European powers (Milan, Savoy).
* EASTERN ALLIANCE: Muscovy, Ottomans, Tunis
Looking good!
