So, in my situation. I'm the Emperor of Britannia and I want to give my son the Kingdom of Scotland. The issue is that I (for some reason) also gave him the duchy of bedford (S. England). Now if I try to give him the Kingdom of Scotland, he also adds Bedford to his kingdom. Is there anyway I can give him Scotland while taking away bedford w/o going to war?

Otherwise, war is the only option.

No, you're going to have to revoke the titles you gave to him if you don't want him to have them, but I don't see this as a very good idea personally.

Save and reload before giving away such titles. Looks like Duchy of Bedford stuck in the Kingdom of Scotland. After reload Scotland should only include it's dejure duchies.

Giving him the Kingdom of Scotland? or Revoking the Duchy of Bedford?

Giving him the Kingdom of Scotland? or Revoking the Duchy of Bedford?
I meant that revoking the titles doesn't seem like a good idea and I'd just let him keep the duchy since you already gave it to him. I can understand you wanting to keep your de jure map neat and tidy, but if your son is also your heir then you can just resolve this when you play as your son by giving out some of his titles to someone else.

Is he your heir? If so I wouldn't worry about it. Once your current ruler dies Bedford will stop drifting into Scotland. So unless you have modded your drift time it should all resolve itself. and if not...Well then you can go to war :)
