Description
WASD not working to pan camera

What is your game version?
227,923

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
WASD does not pan the camera. WASD does pan the camera if I hold down ctrl but this is a terrible way to play the game. Arrow keys work normally. Rebinding the keys to something else then back to WASD did not fix it. The other keys did not work either. Changing display between windowed/full/borderless did not fix it. Letter keys on all other bindings besides camera panning works correctly.

Sometimes after releasing a pan button and control, the camera will continue to pan in the previous direction. Pressing any pan key stops it but the not working issue still persists.

Can you replicate the issue?
WASD not panning is consistent through computer reboot. Has never worked since initial install. Consistent across multiple saves.

I can't reproduce the continued panning consistently but it happens fairly regularly.

What type of mouse? I have a logitech G602.

EDIT: I've noticed that if I hold down control + one of the buttons (WASD), it will scroll in that direction - which we already knew, BUT if I let go of control and continue hitting the directional button it will continue in that direction but slower.

Also, I've noticed that Q and E also don't do what they're supposed to do.

2ND EDIT: So, using what I learned above, and after having done so the game will let me pan with WASD, though it will continue scrolling when I let go of the button(s) sometimes though not consistently. Also multi-directions is functioning. It's a little wonky, and slightly hard to control, but it beats having to hold down the ctrl key when I want to pan around the map. Also, not a fan of mouse scrolling personally.

I had the same panning/rotating issues. In my case, the game didn't work properly with Zemana AntiLogger. So try to close Zemana if you have. If you don't use the empirical method: close all running on background software and start the game again.
