I had a "great dust storm" event just happen without warning despite 4 towers, and it seemed to be triggered by the "Planet Habitable" event, as both notifications appeared simultaneously.
I had the Marsgate mystery which I wouldn't think would have anything to do with terraforming related events.
Can you replicate the issue?
No, when I reloaded to the previous autosave the dust storm didn't trigger the second time around
