Description
DaVinci Update: GoG Linux - CTD on loading main menu
Linux
GoG
What is your game version?
DaVinci - can't get to Credits
Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
* Brand new install of the GoG Surviving Mars release - no other packs installed yet (i.e. digital upgrade, mysteries pack, stellaris dome all NOT yet installed). (Old install completely removed).
* Removed previous AppData (all saves/mods/etc) - whole directory removed so that I could start fresh and didn't run into issues with incompatible mods/saves/settings.
When starting the game, the two logo images show up, then the loading screen. When the Main Menu starts to load the game crashes to the desktop.
Console log states:
Running MarsGOG directly instead of through the start script exhibits the same crash.
Curiosity version of the game worked without issue on this machine, and had all 3 of mysteries pack, digital deluxe pack and the stellaris dome pack installed. No other changes to the OS had been done between Curiosity version working and the DaVinci release being installed.
Can you replicate the issue?
Occurs 100% of the time.
