Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I complete a return ice crystals mission and Toxic Rain triggers, subsequently crashing the game.
I've tried verifying the game cache and reinstalling. No mods are installed.

Can you replicate the issue?
Simply reload the save and wait until the Toxic Rain triggers.

I got the problem with that save on my machine too, so it is a pretty clear bug - sorry about that! I've lodged a new bug report and attached your save and a link to this thread there.

Just put that save aside and try it as you see new patches come out.
