Description
Colonists will not move domes!

(DID NOT ANSWER QUESTION)

Other

What is your game version?
1.15

Do you have Space Race installed?
Yes

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I play the game on PS4.

Since either the ‘Tourism free update’ or installing the new ‘In-Dome Building Pack’ my colonists will not move domes despite whatever filters I set and ensuring the domes are hospitable. They won’t even move when I try to relocate their residence or work place manually.

Unless I only use one dome for my entire play through I can’t play the game until this is patched. I have hundreds of hours on this game so I’m certain I’m not overlooking any mistakes in my colony setup.

Can you replicate the issue?
Yes, it has occurred in the last three games I’ve played.

So I hesitate to ask this, given your statement, but you do have a shuttle hub, right?

Colonists will only migrate between domes if they are within walking distance (just a few hexes), connected to the dome via passages, or by using shuttles for transportation.

Your screenshots don't show a hub and the distance between the 2 domes in question is too far for them to walk.

Sorry if you know all this, just trying to help. :)

Don't know if this helps, but I just tested in-game. The maximum distance my colonists would travel to migrate is 38 hexes. That is, 2 small domes with entrances facing one another and 38 empty hexes between them. At 39, they wouldn't migrate. I guess the entrance to each dome is classed as outside, making it 40 hexes, which fits with what ChoGGi said.

The issue is somewhat related to the one described some days ago (the forum seems to prevent me to post URLs) : surviving-mars-filters-no-longer-working-after-tourism-update.1462559/
It looks like it is not even tracked by actual devs.

I´ve just posted an issue in other section of this forum, where I explain how I have to manually move my elder to the specified dome, even though all of the filters are set correctly. I hope they fix this soon, cause otherwise managing a bigger colony than the one I have now will be a pain

You'll have the problem on the other end too with children domes. and even more problems as you can't move the homeless youths quick enough out of the dome so it gets overpopulated and does not accept any more children. If you build appartments as buffer for the youths they will be filled with children instead.
At time you get hundreds of reservation in both elder and children dome but moves are very slow if at all with lots of shuttles sitting idle.
To keep a children dome empty just deny "no specialization" workers, even if you want children to move there this effectively blocks them. but this is needed to 'encourage' youths to leave
