Description
Children won't move domes automatically

What is your game version?

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I have a dome I have set up to house children and one where the children are being born. The children won't automatically move into the dome I made for them. I have thumbs-downed children in the starting dome, and thumbs-downed everyone else in the children's dome while thumbs-upping children in there. The domes are in walking distance - I can send them to live over there manually without any problems. I also gave it over one full Sol to make sure they weren't just being slow.

They will, however, move back to the starting dome automatically when they become youths.

Save not attached because it won't let me submit this post if I do. But I have one available.

Can you replicate the issue?
It's happened with both the children I've had born so far in the colony.

I think I've found the problem - the game seems to be checking specifically for spare *residential* living space; it doesn't consider nursery space acceptable for sending someone over to the new dome, so if that's all you have over there, it won't send anyone. I built a basic living quarters in the children's dome and the second it was completed, the child moved over to that dome and into the nursery.

I also had this issue. I think this may have been an intentional workaround to prevent kids going into a dome without food services. However I got the Breakthrough for no workers in services building pretty early, and so had no need for normal residential space. I wound up just housing them in apartments and then an Arcology, have not tried putting nursery back in yet though.
