Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
After playing some time the audio vanishes every time. It's the only game where this happens. I've searched throug hall sound issues on the forum and I couldn't find a working solution.

Additionally, if I'm using bluetooth headphones, the game crashes after the audio disappears.

Given the amount of bug reports I've seen on this on the forum, I'm curious why it isn't on the known issues list.

Can you replicate the issue?
Yes. Start up Survivin Mars. Play for some time (a few minutes) for example the tutorials. Then the audio disappears and doesn't come back.

I've seen reports here of crashes when disconnecting various USB devices, but not the actual game audio disappearing during play, that I recall anyway.

What do you need to do to recover from this state? Does exiting and restarting the game do it? Or you need to reboot?

To me, the crash isn't the issue. If I don't use my bluetooth headset, the game doesnt crash. The audio disappears nonetheless.

After some time (minutes) the audio device disconnects - be it bluetooth or cable speakers.

Restarting the game helps in the sense, that the audio is back but after some time the audio disappears again.

Since it's the only game, where this happens, I'm inclined to believe it might be a bug.

That is possible, although it raises the question why would that bug not be affecting everyone.

If you change to a different audio output device, eg 'Speakers/Headphones (Realtek(R) Audio)' as a test, does it still happen?

Thank you for your response. I'll have to test that out at some point. It might take a while to find the time.

As of now, I suppose it's a problem with the audio source that seems to be incompatible with the game. If I choose the laptop speakers it works.

Still a little annoying, since the laptops speakers are no good and the headphones expensive.

Let's see what drivers are in use.

DXDIAG is a program you run from the Windows search box on the task bar. After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then attach that file here.

Here is the result of the DXDIAG. I have selected the headphones as my audio device while running the tool.

Today the game worked for half an hour without crashing - bluetooth headphones on. Yesterday I have installed windows 11. Seems to have fixed some problems. Thank you for your support.
