It's 1946. I've managed to capture japanese islands as Soviet Union (though there was pretty much nothing left out of my Red Navy...). Then the surrender event pop up. My division teleport to Moscow, and then Japan becomes USA puppet :angry:. Even though they haven't captured Ivo Jima/Okinawa yet! There's got to be a surrender event that makes Japan a SOV puppet...
