Is it just me or did they make support weaponry (SL, MG, Flamer) ignore evasion?
I'd accept it if used during melee, but its weird when used as regular (short) ranged weapony.

If anyone can confirm, I'd post this as a bug (if it hasn't already been?)

At the very least they do not suffer the penalties of the other weapons. When I use my Firestarters and fire all weapons (2x ML, 6x SL) against a target, the SLs usually have 85% or higher to hit, while the MLs will have numbers in the 40-60% range. Of course pilot skills will change all that, but one thing remains true...

With a low skill pilot, the SL melee mech is a good choice due to them being able to hit with the SLs in the follow up attack. Even a 3 gunnery pilot can have 80-90% to hit with a SL, in my experience.
