I'm stumped. I'm the US, i've taken all islands in the Pac. except Japan and i'm starting to retake the Phillipines. I have taken the 5 southernmost provinces (islands) of the Phillipines but my troops are dying on the vine because they are out of supply. I don't understand because i have ample TC and ample supplies. all of my Pacific islands get plenty of supplies but my troops in the Phillipines get none. the manual does a great job of explaining what is happening but not how to fix it. also...does anyone know where I can find the patch that takes the time limit out really far (something like 1999 or into the 2000's, i can't remember)? I had it before, a while ago, but have since had to reinstall the game and now i cant find the patch. any help would be greatly appreciated

Troops on the Philippines islands need to be supplied by them. If there isn't a direct connection to their capital, then they need convoys for that.
In the auto-convoy there's a bug that allied forces on your islands don't automatically get taken into account. You could try and put a division of them on those islands, but I'm not sure if they even have enough convoys to do so.
I would recommend getting your troops out ASAP.
You're sure you have enough convoys and escorts yourself, as that is more important than TC for supplying?

thanks man, the japs never took manila, so the fact that i don't have a direct path to manila is the only thing that i could guess that was the problem. it is a bit unrealistic though, i mean i doubt that the US would let 12 divisions of marines starve when they are just a short convoy ride away but anyway, i guess i'll reinvade closer to manila. thanks againGoforitPanzer said:
