Playing as Russia, I have had Leningrad cut of, and with auto selected supply chain from arch angle to Leningrad does not set up. I then switch auto off, and create one which then works for one day, and then cancels, even though auto tick are deselected.

Denmark is controlled by Germany, isn't it?
You cannot move fleets/convoys if enemy country controls a strait.

Ah, you are correct. The engine still allows one days worth if you manually do it, but good to know.
