Alright, having another serious issue during a war.

Again with my Kingdom of Perm game as unreformed pagans. I was attacked by a Khagan. I have to travel through another Khagans lands to get to his.

THe fight has been dramatically back and forth but the reason is mind boggling to me. I'll use the new mechanic where you can see the supply of the province and how much your army will take up. All of it is green, ok sweet.

As my army is marching, randomly half way through suddenly the supply of a province will jump from 16k down to 1.25k.. @#$#

This has happened randomly for no real apparent reason. It's not in tune with the season or weather, and even then I don't see why it'd drop that massively. My 6k army which should of had enough supplies to make it to the provinces is now down to 1.50.. ok whatever, because his armies are in my provinces taking massive damage since I'm a pagan and yay for that broken mechanic where invading armies take massive damage cuz reasons.

So I use 500 prestige to raise another army, push his army out and destroy them. Only to look back at my 1.50k army who was sieging a fort, and find they are now down too 250 and the supplies of the area has dropped from 16k, to 1.50k, and is now down to 250...

What the actual @#$#

It honestly feels like the game is cheesing me and deliberately messing with the supply of regions to make an unrealistic and dumb difficulty that shouldn't be there.... As I see no reason why the supplies of a region should drop so massively randomly and go back up randomly as well.

Things that could be affecting it:
pagan homeland - is now the religion of an unreformed pagan that you are now hostile to. (the very low numbers imply this - you are attacking an unreformed pagan)
winter - mild/normal/severe (also check you are reading the right line), as the months change.
nomads - AI nomads are prone to move their capitals randomly, which affects the neighbouring provinces supply limit (due to adjacency of friendly holding)
