So I've been playing a game as Communist China and had nearly completed my goals of unifying China and driving the Japanese into the sea.

I own all of modern China except Tibet and Sinkiang and also occupy Mongolia. After annexing Manchuria I just had Korea as well as the Vladivostok area (bitter peace had fired) to go. They are virtually undefended but the supply crisis hit. My army in Manchuria is completely out of supplies and is being rapidly drive back by the meager Japanese forces. Is there anything I can do?

I have plenty of additional troops in China but sending them to Manchuria will just make the problems worse. Transport planes are a lot of research/build time away.

Honestly have no idea to proceed, seems defeat has been snatched away fro the jaws of victory.

I really think the supply problems in China are too harsh. My entire army is only half a million strong and I only have about 25 divisions in Manchuria/Korea.

Joining the Comintern faction gives you -33% supply consumption. A good OOB with a level 8 leader at army group level gives -40%. Combined that's -73%.

The China/Manchuria border is both a bottleneck and low infrastructure, creating what is probably the worst supply situation in the world for a Japanese or Nat Chinese army needing to supply armies through it. But a properly organized Communist army is almost cheating and should have very few problems.

Thanks for the help. I didn't know that Comintern gave a bonus. I guess Axis and Allies do too?

I've not joined Comintern because I'll have to conquer Sinkiang at some point and they are already members.

I ended up just holding the line in Manchuria and invading Japan.

You can see the bonuses if you go to the politics screen and mouse over the Axis/Comintern/Allies symbol.

Axis lets you declare limited war and gives territorial pride +10%
Comintern gives +10% espionage, -33% supply consumption, and allows free resource gifts
Allies makes guarantees alliance-wide and gives +/- 10% consumer goods required during peace/war

Comintern pretty clearly comes away as the winner.
