Super fast M2:kingmaker

i recently installed majesty2:kingmaker, and the game is running much faster than majesty2. i mean gameplaywise, it's like all my subjects and the monsters they face are on speed it seems to be about double the speed of majesty2.

i've checked the in game menu and there is no 'speed control' abilities.

im still enjoying the game, but im not enjoying it as much as i could be, simply because i have to keep clicking; i cant just sit back for a bit and watch the simulation.

can anybody help me???

when you are playing, there is an option to adjust speed in the upper right part of the screen.

The plus and minus keys on your keyboard should also control the speed.
