Q: Will Super AI Bundle 1.2 work with patch 1.06b?

A: I ran some tests and it work just fine. So just install the patch and continue your game.

Q: When Germany surrenders and Europe gets divided between the Commiterm and the Allies I get database mismatch errors. Why is that?

A: When minors give expeditionary forces to other countries and then are conquered it causes the leader ID to move with them. When the country gets liberated the program tries to create the leader again with the same ID even though he is in another country as an expeditionary force. Just click the "Continue" button and keep playing your game. During the liberation of Europe event you will get many of these errors just click through it and play as normal.

Q: Re-Supply units are to expensive and it gets to a point I can't keep building stuff and maintaining my army?

A: In the Bundle we implemented Math Guys supply modifier. The reason for this is that the re-supply of units is hardcoded into the hoi.exe file so it was impossible to simulate true replacements for a division. With this modifier you are experiencing the real difficulties of maintaining an army. So in essence instead of zerging your apponents off the world you need to out think them.

Q: What is with these techs that take 4 years to research?

A: There are limitations on the tech tree as it is. For example we are un-able to add new gold techs and are limited to the original amount entered into the game. Because of this we need to time things in the system so that equipment flows at a historical rate. This is to prevent tech rushes and people fling Jets in 1939.

Q: Manpower has change for the entire world. Why are units so expensive compared to other MODs that charge only 10 for a division?

A: One of the major issues with other MODs was what I call the ZERG effect. In essence the goal was to out build your enemy not out think them. The new manpower layout is based on historical populations. In addition we calculated a 700 soldiers to 1 manpower ratio from that pool. This is then applied to the actual division sizes of that time period. Most divisions where 12,000 - 18,000 soldiers depending on the country. This reflects the new manpower. So in Vanilla HoI you where paying 10 manpower (7000 soldiers) for a division where as in the Bundle you are paying 22 manpower (based on major power, 15,400 soldiers) on average.

Q: Plane org is low is this correct or a bug?

A: Org on all planes has been lowered by 70% from the original layout. This was done for several reasons. First it shortens air battles to a more historical level of fighting. Second it prevents division destruction by air units alone. Air power should lower enemy org and allow your ground units to advance easier. It should not destroy entire divisions all alone.

Q: WOW what is with the huge increase in destroyers in the initial OOB?

A: The initial OOB was based on a 1 unit = 5 destroyers count. With the new sub parameters it became extremely important for naval countries to have destroyers to hunt the subs down. Some initial reports from people where super submarines etc.... The actual problem was that noone had enough destroyers to take out the submaries. The new OOB layout has been changed to 1 unit = 2 destroyers and this should remedy the issue.

Q: What are these new tags next to the leaders. Like [OD] etc...?

A: We updated all the leaders to show there abilities. This was done to make it easier on people to assign leaders to units. So in short OD = Offensive Doctrine etc.....

Q: River attacks are extremely difficult in this MOD is something wrong?

A: As far as I can tell there is nothing wrong with the river penalties. What is the appears to be the issue is that people are not using engineers and combined arms to establish a bridge head accross a river. Rivers by nature during WWII were extremely difficult obstacles to over come and any river line that was well defended was almost impossible to penetrate.

Q: Night attacks are impossible to do why is that?

A: There were very few night attacks during WWII with the exception of some air bombardments. It was extremely difficult to coordinate attacks in the dark which is why the massive penalties.

Q: How do I remove the Bundle graphics and put the old Vaniall 1.06 graphics back on?

A: Go into the SuperAIBundle directory and delete the GFX forlder.
