I noted early in the thread that I would assign countries not on first come first served basis which is commonly used, but rather on first known face come, first served. Archduke wanted England so he got it.

However, he's already said that he would be fine with Portugal, so if you really want England you should ask him for a switch. I would wager there is a good chance he'll agree.

If he doesn't, Portugal is yours if you want it.

No problem with that, the thing was I that I never saw him asking for England. That was the thing that made it strange.

I'll ask him although it isn't the end of the world if I end up with Portugal (well not until Spain/Formula51 decides to attack me). If the ArchDuke really wants England he can have it as long as I get Portugal.

When I use to play Victoria MP, we play 5 hours sessions, and thats about 5-10 years game time.
Maybe you guys that have played EU2 can estimate a time, as Victoria is far more complex than EU3 I suppose we can play for more than 10 years/ 4 hours?

EU2 MP games tend to last 4 hours real time and about 20-30 years game time, so I expect EU3 MP to be about the same, perhaps a bit slower due to it's increased load on the CPU.

the first game will be laggy and chaotic, it should be. The process and the result won`t be so much entertaiment as later. People may remember later "it was first game", but nothing remarkable except digit "1". So i`m sure i`ll gain my fun with other games in other weekdays. I hope you`ll have fun too, though i believe it will be enough pain.
