No, since GMT is unaffected by daylight savings. During summertime (like now) CET = GMT+2

But if your thinking the time of UK with GMT, you would be wrong again, since during summer UK uses BST (British Summer Time), which is GMT+1. It's somewhat odd really.

If you do have daylight savings times like Europe and US (in other words, if you move the clock one hour forward during spring and one hour backwards again during fall), then your time would be CET -4, if it's normally referred to as GMT-3 (like Brasilia, Buenos Aires and Greenland are).

Please ask again if I'm being completely confusing.

I don't have daylight saving, and its winter here anyway, though i dont know if that makes a diference
so i would be CET -5?
what would happen in european winter? and what if we implement daylight saving?
